Submit a Bid for Meeting Location
Eastern Iowa Tourism Association (EITA) is seeking member organizations to host General Membership Meetings.
This is a great opportunity for you to showcase your community, your county, or a specific venue and we invite and encourage you to be creative when doing so. Moving the general membership meetings around the region highlights your area to tourism professionals, volunteers, and leaders.
EITA currently coordinates five General Membership Meetings which includes our Annual Meeting.
- Open dates to bid on include: September 1, 2021, January 5, 2022, and May 4, 2022
- In late October / Early November 2021 (dates TBA) there will the Power of Travel Day. There will be an EITA General Membership Meeting in conjunction with the Power of Travel Day event.
- The EITA Annual Meeting is tentatively scheduled for July 6, 2022. The date and location will be determined by the EITA President.
An eligible meeting site must be a member of EITA and within a county of good standing.
If you decide to submit a request for proposal (site bid) using the following online form, you will still be required to meet all guidelines and meet the deadline stated for requests for proposals.
